Project 365/52! [7/52]

okay so apart from my blog 365 Days of Life i want to make sure i am getting EVERYTHING out of my camera so i decided to join into other bloggers challenges that way i can mix it up a bit.
anywho, so i came across Morgan Kervin Photography a few weeks ago and feel in love with her blog! she has awesome tutorials, amazing pictures and a new project, Project 365/52!!
so naturally, i have to join. [better late than never!]  buuuuuut i couldnt decide which i like better.... which one is your favorite??

what a wonderful day

its valentines day and love is in the air. feels like spring has sprung and its going to be a great day here in the springs. although i wish my valentine was here to share it with me :( but he will have a short day today, so that makes it better.
started the day off on a great note, little miss jade woke up on the right side of the bed and got ready and i even had time to do her hair in french braids, (man that child hates to have her hair brushed, but just expects it to make it pretty by itself) lol. amani and aniya are still sleeping, so i have a minute to catch up on my blogging and enjoy my nice cup of joe.... ahhhhh.
and another spectacular thing.... i get my camera in the mail today (finally mr ups man) and a happy valentines day to meeeee. so fingers crossed, the mail goes off without a hitch, i seem to have bad luck in that area. ah well. at least when i get it i have two cute little models within an arms reach to shoot :D

Good things come in small packages

well, first off, we are no longer getting the house. but, its okay, im not bent out of shape about it. we have decided to save more money and then when the time feels right we will try again.

on a super awesome note. my Nikon D90 is shipped and will be here by the 14th (but hopefully it comes saturday, i hate waiting) and Happy Valentines Day to moi!!!! the hubs is also happy about my camera too, he thinks hes getting high class facebook photos, ahhhhh hes so funny. but its a good thing i already have my lens so i can snap away when it gets here. i was going to get the 50mm f/1.8 AF bbuutt i got the "nifty fifty" 50mm f/1.8 manual. i decided i want to push myself to ONLY be in M so i dont get comfortable having the camera do everything for me. (cant'cha tell im super excited?!?!)

and as of other ventures in my life, me and a couple of my BG girls are doing The Love Dare.
Day 1:
i did have one slip up. he was just trying to be a negative person all day and had said something so i said im just trying to be nice and he said "i dont need you to be nice" so i kinda yelled "im your wife, im supposed to be nice" and he just kinda shut up and had a shocked look on his face. lol
Day 2:
my husband blames me a lot for stupid little things so its hard trying to not be defensive, but i think i am doing pretty good so far.
Day 3:
today is the day where we have to buy our spouse something just to say "im thinking of you" well how do you do that when you really dont HAVE money? And he just got his head/tail light covers so he really doesnt want anything. I guess I could get him a snickers or something (lol)

it seems like its taking forever to get the items i pined after for over a year. and in a matter of days, they will be mine.
pure bliss.
in the meantime i am gaining skill and knowledge for my future journey.

anywho.

ermm well... that was short

so i guess i spoke too soon. i had to officially quit my job yesterday. it was a sad day, i really liked it there and i met some awesome people. my husband just found out he is going to the NCO board and will be getting his E-5 so our scheduals are conflicting.
buuuuuutttttt....
he did bribe me with hopes of my own studio XD so i guess now i have more time to browse the interwebz in search of my inspirations and i wanted to take up knitting so i can make MY OWN PROPS.

  so when in doubt, stay calm, blog on. yep.

i never thought going back to work after being off for a year and a half would be so hard. i have officially started my training, job shadowing and job assisting at Mosaic the 3rd of this month and i find myself burned out at the end of the day. not to mention my 1 year old running at me when i walk through the door to give me hugs and kisses. breaks my heart cause she doesnt know any different from me being with her 24/7 to now working all the time.

but, i will make it. so will she.
cause thats how we roll ;)
